A couple of days ago I received an ad with the statement:
“Buy This Home with NO Payments Till Jan 2011.”
I know as consumers, we are used to seeing similar “catchy” slogans being thrown around our local furniture stores. Well, now this marketing strategy has spread to your local real estate market.
No, this is not a scam, or a new government program for first time buyers, and no, this is definitely not scheme the mortgage industry is running to get more people to buy a home.
These are sellers, possibly, investors, who are trying to sell their property quickly. I know of a couple of nicely RENOVATED homes that are being sold this way. That’s right, move in to a renovated home, and you don’t have to pay a single mortgage payment until 2011.
